 Before you start on your custom cabinets you want to make sure your saw blade is set to the right height and has the right amount of width on it to make for precise cuts in the kitchen wood. That is a trick cabinet makers use is simply checking their work as they are going along. If you think you’re checking your custom cabinets, enough check again. So now that I have set my blade to the right height, I am going to start by using a push stick to make sure my hands stay clear of the blade.  A push stick is a simple wood material that you scope to have an inner right angle for grip. It’s easy to make and not a lot of thought goes in to making one but it’s a cheap way to protect yourself from a lot of dangers while making your custom cabinets. So now that I have my push blade, I am going to begin you push the styles through the blade to make my cuts in the wood. I make sure I put pressure going downward while I send the wood through the table saw to keep the wood from chipping. These are little nicks that a lot of cabinet makers use to go forward with cutting their wood and perfecting their project so they can take priced in their work.
