I am a contractor I mainly build kitchen custom cabinets. Occasionally I will build restroom custom cabinets. My next project I thought I would go through it with you. It is cherry kitchen custom cabinet in a beaded inset. What I mean by that is that the drawer front of the custom cabinets sit inside of the frame with this bead style of detail all the way around the inside of the custom cabinets. These custom cabinets should take around one to two weeks until the install. We’ll show you some snippets of the custom cabinets as we progress through this. Like any project we do here in the shop one of the first things that we take very careful consideration of is finding the right material to fit each customer’s needs because they’re all different in taste of style. One customer is never like another when it comes to custom cabinets.  Right here in front of me we have some rough cherry boards. This is a popular shade for custom cabinets. We spend a couple of hours at every lumber yard so we can get as many selections for custom cabinets as we can for our consumers.  We handpick every wood that we use because one I don’t want a lot of waste and second you have to have the best that you can get so our first step here is to take a lot of this lumber and clean it down to smooth custom cabinets so it is easy to paint later.
