I am on my last door of my custom cabinets. I have numbered all of them so I know where to place them on the custom cabinets. I have the custom cabinets labeled according to the doors that I number. They’re in conjunction with each other. I do so on a piece of tape so I don’t have to mark on the custom cabinets themselves. I also do that with the rails and style as well to connect the whole custom cabinets together. It helps keep me organized. I do this before I even show up the houses because this method also gives us a speed advantage. Next I am going to get the table saw set up right here in a second and start plate my parts right next to it in order of one, two, and three. I have in front of me an example of a door similar to what I am doing for the custom cabinets. I like to get a visual before I start because I am a visual person. The type of door I will be doing for the custom cabinets is called a shaker-style door. It has flat rails and styles also a flat panel. We have filled all of my doors. I put the raised panel on the inside of the custom cabinet doors. You still get a half inch panel instead of a quarter inch panel door. It has a little more weight which is important for any custom cabinets when you’re looking for quality.
