In your house you probably have a lot of custom cabinets in your kitchen which is typical. Starting with something smaller can be a fairly productive idea to really test the waters with how easy it’s going to be to construct your custom cabinets. So what I did with my custom cabinets today is I had a couple of examples to choose from. We knew we wanted to go with a rich brown color or something similar to that for our custom cabinets. We wanted it to look more on the dated side of things or antique. Then what is currently in place for my custom cabinets which is basic factory custom cabinets. So we had a couple of different things to choose from here and we had a option that was too dark and one that was a little light so we went with the happy median for our restroom custom cabinets today. It is good to have some color to the custom cabinets because white is hard to keep clean just like anything else but dark colors for custom cabinets make the space seem smaller kind of like if you were thinking about painting the walls. The same rules apply with your custom cabinets. The medium has more of the aged look for it anyway and as I can tell on this sample right here which I can also do with a kit when I choose a finish for my custom cabinets that I can choose to tape off a corner of my custom cabinets to give it that sharp edge when I am painting them and that is it for the prep of my custom cabinets.
