When working on custom cabinets a lot of times on a set of doors where they’re up high or you’re on the second level working on kitchen custom cabinets you’re going to need a second set of hands for so that one of you can be removing the screws and someone else can be holding that door so it doesn’t fall. Remember safety is always most important. On my first cabinets door it came off very easily. Sometimes this part of the hinge is a little tighter in this hole and you do have to close the door and pull from the back side right where those hinges to your custom cabinets door are to get the door off but once these screws are out everything else is free to be removed. Now here is the biggest trick of all. You have to number your doors. It seems tedious or like they would go on easily once they’re off but that is almost never the case. Someone took a lot of time to hang them and make them, keep them level, and turn them into the custom cabinets you see in front of you. They had to make everything look nice. So what you want to do is be able to go back to exactly what they did before with the least amount of work. So take a piece of painters tape and take a sharpie that’s not blue because blue doesn’t and number them then you can start anywhere. Wherever you start on the custom cabinets just make it very easy on yourself.
"My completed custom cabinets only took two days to demolish and install. I was expecting this to take the whole week but their crew of workers went right to business. They all seemed like good folks. Now my cabinets are a wonderful addition to my home." Terry - Katy, TX
